Seeds that small thigs which are hard even to spot with bare eye can give birth a whole forest. Ever thought of making art with different seeds? You might not but Abhratanu Ganguly certainly took it very seriously. Carving his name in The International Book Of Records for making the ‘Smallest Indian Map Crafting with Fenugreek Seeds’ Abhratanu Ganguly is one of greatest artists of our times.He made the map size of 2mm×1.5mm with 74 fenugreek seeds in mere 1 hour 25 min the time some of us take to copy our homeworks.This humble man from Cooch Behar, West Bengal who got recognized by The International Book on 8 august of 2020 is not only a great artist but also a Phd holder from Kazi Nazrul University in Animal Science.West Bengal is filled with such great artist, & we accept nothing less from the great artist like Abhratanu Ganguly & will be looking forward to witness more arts works by him.

Miniature art has been great part of modern arts. Remember the wooden cars that used to the daily part of our childhood helped us made so many joyous memories.Anirban Mishra made got his place in India Book of Record for making the smallest wooden car of 6th mm.After completing his graduation from Kolkata art college Tomluk boy Anirban persuaded his masters from Hyderabad. Having great interest in arts & crafts from childhood he had made it his life. How many of us who loved toys cars since childhood have managed to make one!! When you I were busy watching reels Anirban uploaded a video of his making the 6mm car on 17 th December 2020.Indin book records recognized this gem soon after on 2nd January.Anirban Mishra is one of greatest artist of our times & we accept nothing less from him,will be looking forward to witness more arts great works by him.

Patachitra, the arts form which tells us larger than life stories with fine strokes.Bahadur Chitrakar is not only a leading Patachitra artist from Naya village,Paschim Medinipur but also one few UNESCO (2015) artist recognized of India.Learning the art from his parents Bahadur continued their family tradition and was awarded Shilpi Chakra for his Patachitras. His works got displayed in Annual Art Exibition (2005) & Kolkata Haat (2009), Adesign Diversification workshop of scroll pattac (2009) Karigar Haat (2011).He had traveled New Delhi and Mumbai and also travelled to Moscow to showcase his skills.This humble whose artworks got featured in Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya,nicely displays his collection in the courtyard of his house and love to describe each items to the people who visits.From Zonal Level Khadi Exhibition to Rural Craft & Culture Hubs of West Bengal(2017,2019) Bahadur Chitrakar’s works got displayed everywhere even in 2021’s India Tourism Kolkata & Kala Kumbha- Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Among them Dhananjoy Dey is one of them who has been involved with artfrom gracefully for a very long time. Shanka(White conch shell)art which has part of India culture from vedic times & from weddings to durga puja it has always been a integral part of benhali auspicious occasions.Mahabharata the story which still relevant after so many years, the the epic scenes Kuruksheta battle kept & still keeping so many families across India stucked infront of a square idiot box. Bablu Nandi of Haatagram village in Bankura, got the National Award for intricately etching Kuruksheta on an 11-inch-long conch shell. From Biswaroop Darshan scene, where Krishna shows Arjun his universal form or Viswaroop to Karna’s struggle and Bhim’s gada fight scene at the edge of the shell and Krishna’s pratigya bhongo every thing came to live on a white conch shell with fine art strokes of Bablu Nandi. Learning shell works from his father he has always been passionate of conch shell works so way back in 1992, he first engraved Bhismar Sarasoja on a conch shell & never stopped.He submitted his work many times, with carvings on multiple subjects including women empowerment, agricultural development.
