Bengali Newspaper ‘কর্মক্ষেত্র’ (KarmaKhetra) wrote About Necessity eStore & their mission to reach Indian Handicraft to the Whole World on 24th March.
Few of their Most sold products were featured on the first page of the News Paper.
They highlighted that Necessity eStore is store making artist independent & giving opportunity to earn through their art works.
After few weeks they again featured Necessity in their first page to appreciate their work.

On 23rd March Bankura Goenka Vidyayatan, a school from Bankura, West Bengal recognised the the Necessity eStore as a start up, founded by their own gems from batch 2017 HS batch. They appreciate the mission vision of Necessity eStore.

Jadavpur University Recognizition

On 28th June, 2021 Jadavpur University Posted about Necessity eStore on Facebook handle and recognised as Start up.
They wrote – “Sk Sarju (JU BCSE 2022) and Rahul Dev Dutta (JU BArch 2023) along with their friends have successfully built a startup Necessity eStore which connects the artisans of Bengal with potential customers of indigenous art from India and also across the world. Any artist can join this startup completely free and market his products across the world to a wide base of curators and shoppers valuing Indian Heritage art who are connected by the Necessity eStore portal. The site as of now has got a range of teracotta crafts, dokra art, jewellery, books, paintings etc.

The startup has managed to positively increase the sales and maximum retail prices of arts and crafts produced by Bengali artisans specially in and around Bankura.”

American Institute of Indian Studies Semener

American Institute of Indian Studies invited Sk Sarju, co-founder of Necessity, as a guest lecturer several times to their seminar about Indian Culture & Heritage.
Sarju shares his knowledge about Indian Handicrafts to the all the Americans who are researching about Indian Handicrafts and shows few art works of Indian Handcraft to them and describes the history & legacy behind those art works.

Scientyfic world Interview

A blogger, Snehasis Konar invited Sayan Mukherjee, co-founder of Necessity for a session about how to build start ups. He published the conversation as podcast and blog on his website Scientyficworld.org.
Scientyficworld recognised Necessity eStore as a one of the fastest growing start ups.
